Pacific College Alumni Profile - Uchenna Egwuonwu:

Immediately following her graduation from Pacific College’s NY MSTM program, Uchenna Egwuonwu began her journey as part of the first doctoral program cohort in San Diego.  After receiving one of the first cohort DAOM degrees awarded by PCOM, she became the founder and president of the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Initiative (CAMI), a not-for-profit organization based in Nigeria, Africa.

Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of people through treatment, research, education and program development that focuses on the integration of evidence-based traditional medicine with evidence-based modern medicine.  CAMI is currently involved in the HIV/AIDS project in Nigeria and researching immune-boosting herbs and plants that combat malaria.

Congratulations, Uchenna on all your success!
