Pacific College Alumni Profile - Kenneth Hoffman

Kenneth Hoffman put together his first business plan for Arcadia Health Center during his Practice Management course at Pacific College. He graduated from the New York campus in 2004, and six months later he was booking as many as 60 treatments per week.

Kenneth's success is due in part to practicing the kind of generosity that is prevalent in the healing arts community. His philosophy is that in order to get referrals, you have to give referrals, and as a result, his practice has grown almost entirely by word of mouth.

Kenneth became interested in Chinese medicine as a child, and that interest has continued to grow. In 1991, as a budding Tai Chi practitioner, he was taken on as a disciple student of a Taoist medical master. He began learning the art of Chinese medicine through chi kung, feng shui and tui na.

Using modern technologies such as thermal imaging, hormone and metabolic testing and digital meridian analysis has allowed Kenneth to find a profound and progressive understanding of the timelessness of Chinese medicine. He now specializes in the detection and treatment of hormone disorders such as infertility, depression, PMS, prostate and breast cancer.

Much of his practice also involves allergy desensitization and environmental detoxification especially with children and chronic illness. Kenneth also treats many patients with cancer, fibromyalgia and other severe pain syndromes. Frequently, Kenneth's patients have come to him after years of disappointing diagnoses and treatments.

"At Arcadia Health Center, we are literally saving lives by detecting serious risk factors for cancer and are able to reverse these!" said Kenneth. "We are getting people off prescription meds every week. We are removing lifelong allergies and relieving conditions untreatable by conventional medicine. It is very exciting and humbling to see such dramatic results."

Kenneth guest-lectures at Pacific College's New York campus on the topics of practice management and traditional Chinese medicine. He lives in the small town of Sherman, CT. His summers are spent boating, camping on the lake and spending time with his wife and two young children.

Kenneth feels his future is filled with promise. He is a PhD candidate in natural medicine and is involved in a pilot study of natural treatments for fybromyalgia. His studies are ongoing, especially in the use of Chinese medicine, hormones and modern illnesses.
