Oriental Medicine Presents the 3rd Annual OM Essay Contest!

The OM Newspaper is hosting its 3rd annual essay contest, open to all Pacific College students and alumni. Start creating a name for yourself in the field of Oriental medicine by being printed next to some of the biggest names in the industry. You can begin establishing a presence on the web and have your work read by thousands of readers around the world.

This is an opportunity you don't want to miss!

The winner will receive:
1. A $100 gift certificate redeemable at the Pacific College Bookstore
2. Publication (with byline) in the Winter 2012 OM Newspaper
3. Publication (with byline) on the Pacific College website
4. Featured article in an issue of PCOM's bi-monthly E-Zine

PCOM's Oriental Medicine newspaper and website enthusiastically encourage publishing articles by noted authorities in the field of Oriental medicine. Continuing that tradition, we are expanding to showcase both students and alumni.

TO ENTER: Submit an essay used for a Pacific College academic course, or submit a new article. There is no need to write a new paper, however you are more than welcome to. Simply choose your best work and submit it with a completed OM Essay Contest Entry Form. Download the entry form here

Essays will be judged on satisfaction of requirements, accuracy of information, and readability.
NOTE: Submissions without an entry form will NOT be accepted.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be a Pacific College student or alumni
2. Essay length must be 500-2,000 words
3. Essay must be submitted in Word doc format only
4. Case studies, recipes, and links to blogs not accepted
5. Do not include images or graphics
