PDQ Physicians Data Query - Cancer
NCI's comprehensive cancer database provides a wealth of information through an easy-to-use menu-driven system -- from basic lay level explanations on diagnoses and treatments to state-of-the-art therapeutic approaches to a registry of clinical trials (usually treatment studies) for specific diagnoses. It contains peer-reviewed summaries on cancer treatment, screening, prevention, genetics, and supportive care, and complementary and alternative medicine; a registry of approximately 2,000 open and 13,000 closed cancer clinical trials from around the world; and directories of physicians, professionals and organizations that provide cancer care
