Chicago Library Pacific's newly remodeled library provides over 800 square feet conducive to study and research. A valuable resource for students and alumni of Pacific, the college's Library is also open to health professionals and interested lay people by special arrangement.
Holdings There are many resources available in Pacific's Library, including journals of Eastern & Western medicine, books, audio tapes and video tapes. The Library also boasts student research papers and a variety of articles and newsletters in the vertical files. Required and recommended texts for each semester are available in the Library at the Reference/Circulation Desk.
Equipment & Resources There is easy access to 4 PCs, 1 VCR/TV, and a printer. Computer use is on a first-come first-served basis.
E-mail Services Pacific College provides its students with free e-mail accounts and service. To obtain your password, please complete an application in the College's Administration Office.
Borrowing Privileges A PCOM student ID is required to check out Library materials. Books (a maximum of 3 at a time) may be checked out for two weeks. Materials may be renewed once, either by stopping by or calling. Up to 2 audio and video tapes may be checked out at a time for one week. Materials may be returned to the Library or the drop box located outside the Library.
Library Hours: Special hours for Holidays and Semester Breaks are posted at the Library.

Fines for Overdue Materials: Books: 0.25 per day Audio & video tapes: 0.50 per day
*Weekends are included in the calculation of fines. Replacement Fees are $15.00 plus the cost of replacing the item. Unpaid fines may result in denial of registration, transcripts or other administrative requests.
Online Library Catalog Through the San Diego campus's Online Catalog, users are able to look up books, journals, videos, reference papers and more. In addition, circulation borrowing records including borrowers, checkout and returns are also a part of this system.
Databases & Resources: Lists free health information websites, and includes Journals, Ebooks, etc.
