Catherine Austin, earned her Master’s Degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1998. She has been  a Licensed Acupuncturist in private practice for 10 years in both Northern and Southern California and in South America, specializing in digestive disorders, allergies, auto-immune diseases, and women's health. Ms. Austin has done extensive studies in Chinese herbs and founded the first organic Chinese herbal pharmacy in Sonoma county. She began teaching at Pacific College in 2005 because of her long-time interest in promoting Integrative Medicine. She lectures on respiratory, gastro-intestinal, and endocrine disorders, and supervises in the on-site clinic. She served as Chair of the Clinical Department of Pacific College from 2007 to 2009.  Catherine is also currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree at PCOM, and will be graduating in Jan 2011.
