Elisabeth grew up in a small town in Northern California. She earned her Bachelors degree in Religious Studies at UC Santa Barbara, studying abroad for one year at the University of Barcelona. She then moved to Washington, DC where she completed several internships relating to religion and politics. Elisabeth then went on to teach English in both South Korea and the United Arab Emirates. Afterwards, Elisabeth completed her Masters degree at Harvard University in Religion, Literature and Culture. She moved to San Diego in 2010 and has been teaching Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Humanities at several local community colleges and on-line.
