Gretchen E. Seitz, LAc, graduated magna cum laude from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in April, 2002. She is licensed by California State and well as the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in acupuncture, (Dipl. Ac); chinese herbology, (Dipl. CH); and oriental medicine, (Dipl. OM). She has taught in the acupuncture department for nine years and is currently serving as chairperson of the Acupuncture Department. She is also a doctoral candidate studying the relationship between acupuncture and consciousness.
She maintains a private practice in the Banker’s Hill area of San Diego where her practice is focused on the gentle, yet profoundly effective teachings of the traditional and modern masters. She has studied over the years with the world-renowned Japanese acupuncture master, Ikeda Masakazu. She is also mother to two girls.
