Thomas Haines, Ph.D., is currently Senior Curriculum Developer for the Combat and Operational Stress Control Center located at the San Diego Naval Hospital. He was formally the Academic Dean at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and, subsequently, the Coordinator of Doctoral Studies at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) and has been actively involved at the national level in the development of standards for the doctorate degree in Oriental medicine. He served as a public board member for the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance (AOMA) for nine years. Dr. Haines holds a regionally accredited Ph.D. in Leadership and Human Behavior, a Masters of Science in Math Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Professor Haines is an adjunct professor for the PCOM doctoral program teaching capstone research courses.
