A lifelong student of martial arts, David Thuroff was always interested in the healing benefits of massage. After a series of illnesses, he became inspired by the effectiveness of alternative medicine. David attended the Swedish Institute in New York City and became a licensed massage therapist. In 2010, David completed a Masters of Science/Traditional Oriental Medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine/NYC. He is a licensed acupuncturist and certified herbal medicine practitioner. David's practice is focused on Orthopedics, sports medicine, auto-immune disorders, digestive ailments, stress and pain management. David is a clinic supervisor at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and teaches classes in Orthopedic assessment, Ortho-sports pathology, Ortho-sports massage, Acupoints for massage therapists, East/West Pathology and Western massage.
