Caroline Westin-Garcia, ND, MS


Dr. Westin-Garcia earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology at Colgate University. She has a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the Nutrition Institute of the University of Bridgeport. As part of her post-graduate training, Dr. Westin-Garcia completed several rigorous programs in acupuncture, including certification in acupuncture for physicians at Briarwood College in Southington, Connecticut, certification in Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs at the Swedish Institute in New York City, and training in auricular acupuncture for chemical dependency and detoxification at the Lincoln Recovery Center in New York City. She has also received training in Personalized Metabolic Nutrition. She has served as a scientific and natural health advisor for wellness companies and the non-profit World of Hope International.
In her practice, Dr. Westin-Garcia works with patients on the fundamentals of living a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent future disease, as well as to diminish existing pathologies. Tools she uses include dietary modification, botanical medicine, nutritional supplementation, hydrotherapy, and homeopathy. Her areas of focus include women’s health, children’s health, and digestive health. Dr. Westin-Garcia is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is licensed by the State of Connecticut as a Naturopathic Physician.
