Elena Tate is a New York State-licensed massage therapist, educator, and writer. She is the co-owner of Tulia Massage, a holistic massage therapy practice in Brooklyn, NY and is a member of the faculty of the Massage Department of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. Elena earned her Associate in Applied Science in Massage Therapy from Queensborough Community College, and holds a certification in Prenatal Massage. She also graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts from Hunter College, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the most prestigious honor society in the United States.

She has been published in Language Magazine and Universal Keys for Writers and received an Academy of American Poets Honorable Mention. She was the recipient of a New York City Teaching Fellowship, and taught in an under-served NYC public school. It is a joy for her to share the healing power of massage therapy with her students and clients.
