Information:
Perry Levenson, M.S., L.Ac., L.M.T., Dipl.C.H. Perry holds NYS licenses in both Massage Therapy and Acupuncture and is a Diplomat in Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine (NCCAOM). He received his Certificate of Massage from the New Center for Wholistic Health Education and Research (now the New York College of Health Professions) in 1994, and his Master of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Mercy College in 2003. He has trained in several area hospitals, and was a massage practitioner and Patient Care Coordinator at the New York Center for Pain Management. Perry taught BowenworkTM for the Bowen Academy of Australia, and over the past seventeen years has been studying and using Cranial Sacral Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, Visceral Manipulation, and a host of Asian Bodywork techniques in his practice.
Since 2003 Perry has been in private practice in Westchester County (practicing acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and bodywork). He teaches Acupoints for Massage Therapists, and Philosophy and History of Asian Medicine at PCOM-NY. He is also the Clinical Supervisor of Pacific College’s externship in massage at Housing Works in NYC. Perry joined the PCOM faculty in 2009 and is currently serving as the Chair of the Massage Department at the college’s New York Campus.
