Information:
Lisa Cavanaugh is a Registered Dietitian who emphasizes a whole foods diet with the belief that a flexible, balanced approach to diet change is the most successful. Lisa enjoys inspiring a curiosity in food, exploring the nutrients it contains, how it is grown, and how it all comes together on your plate. Lisa received her R.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2000 and currently teaches nutrition at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC. Lisa also loves working with children in the areas of leadership, nutrition, and gardening; and she does this through her capacity as a Girl Scout troop leader, a school wellness advisor and one of the founding members of the Elysian Charter School community garden. In addition, Lisa maintains a private practice in Hoboken, NJ, counseling athletes, new moms, and weight- loss clients in nutrition and healthy eating. Lisa earned a BA in Business Administration from the University of Delaware in 1987 and a completed the Didactic Program in Dietetics at The College of St. Elizabeth, in 1999.
