Elizabeth B. Healy, JD, MSTOM, LAc


Elizabeth B. Healy is the founder and owner of West Village Acupuncture. She studied Acupuncture and related disciplines at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine where she earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM). In her practice she focuses on treating psycho-emotional conditions, menopausal related conditions and cancer patients dealing with the effects of chemotherapy. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of New York and is Nationally Certified in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine by the NCCAOM. She is currently on faculty at the Pacific College and serves on the Board of the Acupuncture Society of New York. She has also served as an advisor to the Chinese Medical Science Foundation and the Coalition for Acupuncture Legislative Initiative.
Elizabeth finds her varied roles in the profession to be challenging and rewarding. It allows her to incorporate skills she developed during her twenty-year career as a trial attorney. In addition to holding a Master Degree, she was awarded a Juris Doctor in 1984 from Cardozo Law School and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Brooklyn College in 1978. She also studied Public Administration at the Masters level at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 1979-1980 and continues her studies in Oriental Medicine. She completed the Massage Program at Pacific College earning her AOS in December 2007.
