Cara Miller, Cert Ohashiatsu


Cara Michelle Miller is a communications coach, mind-body healer, founder of the service program Touch4Hope aimed at improving the well-being of individuals undergoing medical treatments, and is on faculty at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in NYC. She has lectured on the benefits of meridian-based, meditation practices and Shiatsu as a guest speaker for medical doctors, chiropractors and physical therapy centers. Her service program was part of the Fund for the City of New York incubator program.
As a mind-body healer, Cara Michelle has intertwined the East Asian philosophy of medicine with the science of communications to support and guide clients well-being through lifestyle choices. Her one-on-one sessions hone in on living one’s life with passion, reason, empathy, and most importantly, becoming happier and healthier by doing both the inner work of meditative practices and the interpersonal work of service. At The Cooper Union, she has designed and continues to lead communication workshops specializing in movement communication and presentation skills. She holds a BFA in Theatre Arts and Professional Acting from East Carolina University and is a graduate of the advanced class and Instructor’s Training Program from the Ohashi Institute in NYC.
