 Open Positions:

ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR IN CLINICAL SCIENCE

POSITION:
Part-time opening for 2014-2015 academic year to teach the following Western science course in a Master of Science program in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM):

Clinical Science 1 (3 semester units)

The Clinical Science series of courses are the capstone courses for our Western science curriculum, and are designed to teach MSTOM students the basic principles of differential diagnosis as utilized by Western healthcare practitioners.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in a life science or healthcare related field, along with teaching experience in higher education and hands-on clinical experience. Teaching experience must be classroom based, and teaching experience at the graduate level is preferred. Clinical experience should be as a primary care professional, including (but not limited to): doctor of naturopathy (ND), physician's assistant, nurse practitioner and/or nurse midwife.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Clinical experience with complementary and integrative medicine. An extensive teaching background coupled with a student-centered teaching philosophy. We are seeking an instructor with exceptional communication skills who has a passion for teaching, and whose enthusiasm for the subject matter will be an inspiration to our students.

COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
