Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (Chicago Campus) - Director of Education
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine is one of the oldest and largest accredited institutions training professionals in the areas of Oriental medicine, acupuncture, massage and Chinese herbal medicine. Founded in 1986, with the mission of training primary healthcare providers in the field of Oriental medicine. Pacific College has campuses in New York, San Diego, and Chicago, and features an esteemed faculty of professors from around the globe that conduct ongoing research and educate approximately 1,000 students every year.
Pacific College of Oriental Medicine seeks an organized individual to provide leadership to its academic department. The Director of Education provides leadership in academic, curricular and faculty development activities throughout the College and coordinating these efforts with the campus director and the vice president of Academic Affairs in San Diego. He/She fosters communication, academic rigor, consistency, and collegial leadership at the Chicago campus and in the tri-campus dialogue in weekly academic teleconferences. The Director of Education demonstrates leadership ability and interpersonal skills.
Job Requirements: DAOM preferred. Experience with education administration preferred.
Five years of experience in higher education.
